Hello! I am Aimee Mac.
I’m a Cheshire based freelance illustrator and designer.

My expressive illustrations are inspired by plants and animals and also my love of the countryside and anything vintage! Highly detailed, everything is hand drawn with a traditional dip pen and ink.

Aimee Mac Illustration started at a tiny desk in the spare room of my family home. I studied graphic design because I love to connect with people, I focussed on illustration because I love being surrounded by treasures. My inspiration comes from my love for museums, art galleries, antique shops and the funny little shops that you visit on holiday.

My home is an eclectic mish-mash of nic nacs and strange objects and forgotten objects that I have loosely curated over the years. Houses become homes when you fill them with your personality, not mass made uninspired decor. Homes should be colourful and full of personality and I create objects to make it easy for you to make your house a home.

All of my prints are designed to fit together, you could choose any selection of wall art from my shop and I can guarantee they would compliment each other. I make putting together a huge gallery wall of colour easy, or make a feature of a sunny corner of your lounge with an intricate wall hanging, or add a smile to a book shelf with a greeting card. Aimee Mac Illustration makes it easy to bring colour home.
